“From Jasper with Love” is the motto in 2016.
Enjoy this pride festival in this world-class destination in the Canadian Rockies! It’s their 7th year as a festival! It just keeps on growing, getting bigger and better every year.
For those of you who have never been to Jasper before, your in for a real majestic treat with a capital M. Jasper isn’t just your typical “Spring Break” event. Be ready for a wonderland of dazzling glaciers, crystal-clear lakes, thundering waterfalls and evergreen forest, all surrounded by mountains. The natural wonders you can visit and experience seem nearly endless.
The Jasper Pride Festival Society strives to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere of equality, acceptance and support for the LGBTQA communities. They would like to highlight how exceptionally fortunate we are getting together in a place like Jasper, as the openness that you typically encounter in their beautiful mountain town, unfortunately, cannot be taken for granted worldwide.
Jasper Pride Festival is once again featuring its own Pride House as your chance to connect directly with them.
This year’s Pride House will be in the heart of Jasper, at Karouzo’s Steakhouse on 628 Connaught Drive during the Festival. Pride House will be open from Thursday, March 17th to Saturday, March 19th, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM. A great way to meet the volunteers, organizers, purchase events tickets and generally a great meeting place for this pride festival!
Jasper Pride Festival will be the biggest in its history, featuring over 25 events over the course of four days. Too many to list here. I suggest you check out the offical site for Jasper pride at http://jasperpride.ca/
Come celebrate the diversity of this community with Pride. Check it out fellows.
