People are starting to take notice of Madrid, Spain, as it becomes  a modern center of European  gay cool. With a population of 3.3 million, the Spanish capital Madrid is the third largest city in the European Union and thanks to the very progressive laws of gay marriage and anti-discrimination, approved by Spain’s government and parliament in 2005, Madrid has become one of the hippest Gay cities in Europe. Promising to be the hottest and most colourful gay pride parade that Europe has ever seen.

In summer 2017, Madrid will finally host the large WorldPride. A fun week-long festival with hundreds of cultural, political and sports events, a Pride Village, a human rights conference, a program for families, and a lot more. The final parade in the center of Madrid is expected to attract about three million visitors.

Madrid also offers many annual gay events and highlights. They are New Year’s Eve, the international fetish weekend Sleazy Madrid in spring, Madrid Gay Pride in July, the gay film festivalLesGaiCineMad in November, and the international bears week Mad.Bear in December.
Definitely Madrid has become one of Europe’s hottest new gay travel destinations.
